A special thanks to the employees who is restaurant manager. Excellent bar on-site, newly furnished and large room with the tea, temperamental showers and classic touch. Nice variety of cakes and scones for breakfast.

Staff were consistently courteous, room was reasonably large and unique with our own garden. The location was particularly good and absolutely perfect for traveling around Stone, short walk to the closest bus stop as well as Stone.

It was immaculate, cosy and with a huge private garden. Apart from that, Christ Church was 5 minutes away by driving.

Absolutely loved staying at stone house hotel! It was super close to where we were goin for a wedding which was a huge plus. The room (classic double) was comfy and spacious, and the staff were really attentive. Breakfast was delish and hot! A really relaxing stay.
Only downside was some noise from outside and the pillows were a bit too flat for my liking. Maybe they need new ones or somethin?

Our room was lovely; spacious and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The toilet sit was not fitted properly and we would have appreciated a grab rail to hold when climbing out of the over bath shower.

I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful restoration of the hotel, its elegant decor, and the tranquil gardens. It was wonderfully accessible for seniors.
More accessible seating options would be nice.

The historical charm of the building shines through in its elegant decor. The tranquil gardens around the hotel create a peaceful retreat, ideal for relaxation.
The layout of the hotel can be frustrating, especially with the two distinct styles of accommodation. The gym facilities are located awkwardly near the reception. The pool was not heated adequately , disappointing as I was looking forward to a refreshing dip. Lastly, I encountered issues with room temperature as the water in the showers was scalding even at its coolest, raising concerns about safety for less mobile guests.

The total package, It's all there.
The finishing touches were missing everywhere. The building was cold / draughty everywhere (lobby, dining room etc,) After the 3rd visit within 3 years, the changing rooms in the swimming pool are only mimimalistically repaired
